When you look war in the face To see it’s reflection. You will see it’s blank stare, Glossed eyes of abjection. It’s hollowed body, weakened from battle. Bruised and battered Arms wrapped in shackles. A withered body From all the injustice As it’s holding a trophy, Do you see what it cost us?
